57 Young Individuals, Including 27 Women, Graduate from Technical & Vocational Training Programme
In a significant step toward youth empowerment and economic sustainability, young people from District Tank have successfully completed a three-month technical and vocational training programme. The initiative provided market-driven skills to 57 individuals, including 27 women, equipping them with hands-on expertise to enhance their livelihoods.

The programme focused on in-demand vocational skills, ensuring that participants gained practical knowledge in:
✅ Mobile Phone Repair – A high-demand skill that enables young entrepreneurs to start their own repair businesses. ✅ Crochet & Ribbon Work – A valuable craft skill, particularly for women, offering opportunities in handmade product sales and entrepreneurship.
A closing ceremony was held in District Tank to recognize the graduates’ hard work and achievements. During the event:
🎓 Graduates received certificates as a formal acknowledgment of their skills. 🛠️ Customized toolkits were distributed to help participants kick-start their own businesses. 📜 Final assessments were conducted by the Trade Testing Board KPK, adding credibility to the training.

In collaboration with the PATRIP Foundation, we conducted a two-month intensive training program focused on “Amazon Virtual Assistance.” This program aimed to equip these women with the necessary digital literacy to participate in the growing online economy.
By mastering the skills required to support Amazon sellers, these women are now better positioned for self-employment and increased household income. This initiative represents a significant step towards financial independence and economic empowerment for women in this mountainous region.
SRSP recently celebrated the completion of renovations at six government schools in Chitral district, Pakistan. This achievement was made possible through the generous financial support of the German government, channeled through the PATRIP Foundation and KfW.
The inauguration ceremonies were graced by the presence of the Provincial Minister for KP Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Mr. Faisal Khan Tarakai, and the Deputy Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The events were also attended by the CEO of SRSP, teachers, parents, students, and a large number of community members.
Scope of Renovations:
The renovations undertaken by SRSP encompassed a wide range of improvements:
Construction: New classrooms, IT labs, science labs, toilet blocks, staff rooms, and retaining walls were built.
Infrastructure: Water supply schemes were established, electric geysers were installed, and boundary walls were constructed.
Furnishings: Classrooms were equipped with essential furniture, while science and IT labs received necessary equipment.

The Provincial Minister expressed his sincere gratitude to the Federal Republic of Germany for its unwavering support in enhancing the quality of education within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The culmination of the training program was marked by a closing ceremony held at SRSP’s Training Centre in Peshawar. Attendees included representatives from GFC, SRSP, and the PATRIP Foundation, as well as the enthusiastic trainees.
