SRSP recently celebrated the completion of renovations at six government schools in Chitral district, Pakistan. This achievement was made possible through the generous financial support of the German government, channeled through the PATRIP Foundation and KfW.

The inauguration ceremonies were graced by the presence of the Provincial Minister for KP Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Mr. Faisal Khan Tarakai, and the Deputy Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The events were also attended by the CEO of SRSP, teachers, parents, students, and a large number of community members.

Scope of Renovations:

The renovations undertaken by SRSP encompassed a wide range of improvements:

  • Construction: New classrooms, IT labs, science labs, toilet blocks, staff rooms, and retaining walls were built.
  • Infrastructure: Water supply schemes were established, electric geysers were installed, and boundary walls were constructed.
  • Furnishings: Classrooms were equipped with essential furniture, while science and IT labs received necessary equipment.

Ministerial Appreciation:

The Provincial Minister expressed his sincere gratitude to the Federal Republic of Germany for its unwavering support in enhancing the quality of education within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

These renovated schools are expected to significantly improve the learning environment for students in Chitral. The upgraded facilities will provide a more conducive space for education, fostering a love for learning and encouraging academic growth.
