Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL), as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, installed two solar-powered water filtration plants in Tehsil Shewa and Spinwam of North Waziristan. These Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants can produce a combined 6,000 gallons of clean drinking water daily, addressing the needs of local communities and aiming to reduce waterborne diseases in the area. The opening ceremonies, attended by MPCL staff, local government officials, and representatives from the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP), celebrated the project’s completion. It’s important to note that SRSP was responsible for installing the plants.
